Automated / Robotic Telemarketing, it doesn’t get much more annoying then that. This is almost as bad as those automated Political Ads that you get at Election time. This is just the next step of regulation in the battle of consumer home privacy, stemming from the now famous, “Do Not Call” Registry.
The Do Not Call era almost killed Telemarketers. It certainly put a major dent in their business and operational plans. This will eliminate yet another avenue of intrusion from electronic Junk Mail. It will likely cause the industry to find new and exiting ways to reach out to you. Bad news for Telemarketing, short term good news for consumers.
